Before we can shape what something will become, we must understand what it already is — down to the millimetre, ideally. That belief guides Arkemetri, our reality capture practice, an integral part of our workflow and one of our core offerings.
We document existing buildings, sites and environments using laser scanning combined with our extensive building information modelling expertise. The result is accurate as-is documentation and digital twins, serving purposes ranging from design and restoration to property management and preservation. A foundation for understanding possibilities and making good decisions at every stage of a project, and throughout its entire lifecycle.
All data we collect is handled and accessed within our own digital framework and presented to our clients without the need of being shared through third parties, offering a solid and secure ground to build on.

A small office space of 105 square meter, fully documented down to fixtures and inventory — giving the design team an accurate basis for remodeling and material reuse, without the need for an extra site visit to catch that one forgotten measurement. Working from what already exists is the most responsible starting point — it reduces waste, avoids unnecessary demolition, and puts material reuse within reach before a single decision is made.

A 1200 square meter property with common areas and technical installations captured in full, turning routine maintenance into planned maintenance — cutting service trips and giving the property board, stakeholders, and maintenance staff a clear overview of what's where, and what it needs. Fewer service trips, better-organized interventions: a small step that saves costs and adds up to a lower footprint over the building's lifetime.
